In the summer of 2002 a group of New York City Yangjia Michuan Taiji students, led by Robert Politzer, went to Madison, Wisconsin to participate in a workshop taught by Wang Yen-nien. When Robert began the Taiji Class at the Y in 1994 there was very little information about the tradition available online or in publications. At the workshop, with the collaboration of Robert Politzer, Donald Coleman (a founder of the Madison YMT school), and photographer Howard Eckman, I wrote an article about Yangjia Michuan and applications for the magazine Internal Martial Arts.  The editor was kind enough to give us the cover story.
