When Robert Politzer began the Taiji Class at the Y in 1994 it was the first time that our school, The Yang Family Hidden Tradition (Yangjia Michuan Taijiquan), was taught in New York City. We all owe him a lot for introducing us to this rich system of taiji. At that team there was very little about the tradition available online or in publications. In 2002 I wrote an article, with the collaboration of Robert Politzer, Donald Coleman, and photographer Howard Eckman, for the magazine Internal Martial Arts.
