Dear YMTNYC Family:
I trust that you are all staying home and staying safe from the Virus. By studying and practicing Tai Chi, the one lesson that is obvious is that everything changes and that this too shall pass. To keep us all engaged, we will be starting virtual 30-minute classes on Mondays at our regularly
scheduled class time. We will do basic exercises and sitting meditation that can be done in any small NYC apartment. Please look for a Zoom invitation that Bob Kinkel will be sending out.
Hi Robert, this is Don Yu in Fri/Sat classes. Can you please forward this email address to Bob Kinkel so that I get the Zoom invitation? Thanks you and look forward to Monday class. misoonfawad@gmail.com.
Hi Don,
I forwarded you email to Robert and Bob and we’ll put you on the general class email list. Hope you are well – and hope to see you in the relatively near future.
Tom C.
Dear Friends and Tai-chi Family,
I wanted to share with Robert, Tom, Ilana and Gretchen, our desire to let you all know that we are missing you and that we are thinking of you and look forward to the time when we can all get together and practice Tai-chi. In the meantime, take care, be well and stay safe. Stay at home as best as you can and do what you can to exercise and depending on your space , do your leg massages and stretches and basic exercises. Practice the thirteen
postures and work on the first section of the long form.
I’m looking forward to seeing you all when we get back together.
Cheers,
Arnold
Ilana asked me to post this for her:
Hope you are all holding up and doing okay in this challenging time,
As things are getting harder before we can see the light we may want to be reminded of our yin -yang tai chi symbol, and to focus for now on the “bright eye” in the center of the darkness.
Be positive, stay safe
Ilana
I am posting this for Bob Simon:
Hi!,
Checking in, Banquet Bob here!
I hope this greeting finds you well.
I and all my family are well safe at home
I have friends who have lost friends but haven’t gotten closer than that.
I haven’t practiced every day but, can’t say I couldn’t find the time.
The Next Banquet will the 2nd or 3rd Saturday after class resume
😘
